This transformer ensures appropriate loading of the cartridge and correct matching to phono pre-amplifier.
Ideal for use with low output cartridges with a DC resistance in the range:
- 1 to 40 Ohms (1:10configuration, 10dB gain)
- 1 to 5 ohms (1:20 configuration, 26dB gain)
Frequency response 10Hz-120kHz
The loading seen by the cartridge may be adjusted by means of a secondary load resistor.
